I joined the faculty of Suffolk University as an Assistant Professor of Economics in the fall of 2007.  I also have a joint appointment with the Beacon Hill Institute at Suffolk University.

Prior to joining Suffolk I was an Assistant Professor of Economics at San Jose State University and the Director of the Center on Entrepreneurial Innovation at the Independent Institute.

I became interested in economics through the writings of Milton Friedman, F.A. Hayek, Ludwig Von Mises, and Murray Rothbard.  I earned my Ph.D. from George Mason University in 2003 where I studied Austrian Economics and Public Choice Theory.

This webpage is under construction.  Please forgive any difficulties.  It should be completed over the course of this fall.  Until it is fully updated much of my prior work can be found on my San Jose State and Independent Institute webpages.
